A Discovery Flight is the first step on your aviation adventure! Get a glimpse of flight training with a 45 minute flight in our Cessna 150. A perfect time to ask questions about flight training and see if you would like to obtain your pilots license.

The first certificate to earn is your private pilot certificate. As a private pilot you will be able to fly recreationally, give rides to your family and friends, or fly personal cross country trips.

Start off with 10 hours in our Aeronca Champ to learn the fundamental stick and rudder flying skills. Finish your training in our economical Cessna 150.

Phase 1 - $3,000

     Covers flying basics, take-off and landings, emergency procedures

Phase 2 - $3,500

     Covers instrument flight basics, night flight, cross-country flight, solo flight

Phase 3 - $2,000

     Covers review training, test preparations, and testing fees

Maximum of 50 hours of aircraft rental

Maximum of 40 hours of dual instruction

Maximum of 20 hours of ground instruction

Expand your horizons by getting your instrument rating. This rating makes you a safer and more confident pilot and allows you to fly in low visibility conditions under Instrument Flight Rules (IFR).

You will receive training on how to fly in adverse weather conditions, gain valuable cross country experience, and learn air traffic control (ATC) procedures.

The Instrument Rating requires

• A Private Pilot Certificate
• A minimum of 40 hours instrument time
• Pass the FAA knowledge Test
• Pass the FAA Practical Test (Checkride)

Get back to the basics and brush up your stick and rudder flying skills by getting your Tailwheel Endorsement. Flying a tailwheel airplane requires skill and precision especially on takeoff landing. Fly with our experienced tailwheel instructors in our Aeronca Champ!

Keep proficient and schedule a BFR or IPC in our Cessna 150 or in your own airplane

BFR/IPC Cost (our airplane): $250 + Normal rate/hr if additional flights are required

                                (your airplane): $150 + Normal rate/hr if additional flights are required
